An International Relocation...

If you are serious about moving to Canada, then we can fully recommend the services of Warren and Sara Green, they are straight talking couple whose advice is simple and honest. We first met Warren at an Emigrate show and found him very easy to get on with.

We entered Canada under the Provincial Nominee Scheme and used Warren and Sara to both source Mark a job and assist us with our application. Warren sourced Mark an excellent job with a good company given the current economic climate warren sourced a firm that not only had a good domestic revenue but also a good international revenue, this certainly allayed any fears we had about job security when we emigrated.

The quality of the service didn't end there, Warren met with us on a visit to Canada before we emigrated and introduced Mark to the firm he was to work for. On landing in Canada they sourced us temporary accommodation and later helped us to buy our first home in Canada. Nothing was ever a problem even down to Sara driving Vicky and our daughter Lucy to the Doctors when Lucy was ill and it was below -20c outside.

If you are looking for help to emigrate to Canada then we highly recommend the services of Warren and Sara Green, you defiantly feel in safe hands when they are looking after you and if you would like to ask us any questions then feel free to email vickygray74@hotmail.com

If your reading this you are in the same situation we were a few years ago, and you will probably be thinking we do need some help to realize our dream but why should we use the above named person? Well his name says it all, the above statements fit the profile of Warren Green. We are a family of 6 -4 children now aged 25 years to 13, plus a small dog. Our decision to come to Canada was made as a family and together we are working to make it a success. Without Warrens help the transition and all the little things that needed doing would have been a lot harder and we definitely wouldn’t have got our luggage in a cab!!!! Warren was there to greet us at the airport and with the help of his big truck managed to transport our goods. He was there for us to get the children settled in schools, find a house, and just made life in the first few weeks generally go smoothly. We haven’t needed his help since those first few weeks but we know he will be there for us if we need him. We have now been living in Okotoks for three years.

Good luck with your venture

An International Relocation...

We are Paul, Rachel and Joe Lavelle. We are originally from Southampton in the UK and have been living in Okotoks, Canada for a little over a year now.

We first met Warren and Sara at the Sandown Emigrate show in September 2005. We had then decided that we wanted to move to Canada but we were not sure how we were going to get here as neither Paul or myself had a university education and our jobs were not highly skilled.

We began working with Warren, who from the very start did not believe our case to be an easy one. He did however look into every possible way of getting us a job offer and succeeded in finding Paul a job after only a few weeks of trying. We applied for permanent residency and were granted it approximately a year after the job offer was made. Unfortunately the job offer was not followed through and we arrived in Canada as permanent residents without a job. Warren again worked tirelessly to find Paul a job and within a week of landing, he had found him one.

He helped us to get SIN numbers, register for healthcare, get bank accounts, register our son at school, hire a car and his support and enthusiasm helped us through a very difficult transition.

After a couple of weeks getting settled we met with Sara to begin house hunting. We had been trawling MLS and were shocked at how quickly the house prices were rising. We stumbled across our house by chance and once inside with Sara we were hooked. We did look at a few other houses but nothing measured up. We had not had all of our money from England transferred at the time and rather than risk losing our dream house, Warren and Sara paid our deposit.

A year in and we have started our own business, a dream we have had for a long time that we did not feel was possible in England, our son, now 16 has settled very well into his school, he has lots of friends and works as a courtesy clerk at our local supermarket. He is saving hard for a car and loves the Canadian life.

We are very grateful to Warren and Sara for all their help as we are very much aware that without their help, we would not be living in a wonderful country and enjoying a fantastic life.

If you are considering a move to Canada, I would say don’t do it without them!

Paul, Rachel and Joe Lavelle

An International Relocation...

We, Rob, Berry, Lucy and our Belgian shepherd dog Orson, moved from Voorhout in The Netherlands to Okotoks in Alberta on 30 September 2006.

Our initial contact with Warren Green was via his website. We discovered his website because we started looking for houses in the Calgary area via the internet already a year before our move. During our immigration procedure, we came into contact with other Dutch couples who already moved to Canada and had very good experiences with Warren, when he helped them finding temporary and permanent accommodation, arranging everything that comes with it when you enter a new country and to get around in the Calgary area. So we contacted Warren ourselves and met him in person in March 2006 at the Dutch Expat- and Immigration fair in Nieuwegein in The Netherlands. At that time we did not know yet at what date we would move, but our contacts with Warren were very pleasant. We had a couple of further contacts over the phone after that and when we knew our arrival date in Calgary, we agreed with Warren that he would pick us up at the airport and arrange a rental car for us. We were lucky that we already had managed to get a temporary rental accommodation via a friend of us who was already living in Okotoks. Because when you have a dog, even for Warren who knows the local (rental) housing market very well, finding a rental accommodation would have been a big challenge.

And there he was when we arrived at the Calgary airport with our 120 kg of luggage on Saturday the 30th of September. Lucky for us Warren has a big truck and helped us getting al the luggage into the back of it. Even for the large air kennel of our dog, there was more then enough space. After we had picked up our rental car, Warren escorted us to the Super 8 hotel in High River, which we had booked for the first week after our arrival. On Sunday we had a day of rest but on Monday Warren picked us up at the Hotel to drive to Calgary to arrange our SIN numbers and health cards. He also took us to a shop to get mobile phones, and helped us getting the best possible deal. In the afternoon he took us to one of the local car rental companies in Okotoks where he arranged that we were able to change our rental agreement which saved us a lot of money on airport tax.

The next day Warren took us to the car registration agency in High River, so we knew where we had to register our car and do our theoretical drivers test. Because The Netherlands does not have a reciprocal license agreement with Canada, you can not exchange your Dutch driver's license for a Canadian one, but have to do a theoretical test and a practical driving test after you have passed the theoretical one.

In the afternoon we went to one of the local car dealers in High River to buy a car. Warren had advised us the dealer and had arrangement an appointment for us. As there are a very large number of car dealers all over the place, it was very nice that Warren advised us a reliable and good one, where he also had his own car in maintenance.

After Warren had taken us to a local bank to open a bank account and advised us a good school for Lucy, it was time to start looking for houses. Although we had a nice rental bungalow we did not want to wait too long with buying of a house because of the tight housing market in Alberta. In the next couple of days we visited a number of houses with Warren but initially we did not find a house that we liked very much.

When Warren was away on a business trip his wife Sara took over. A week or so later we found a house with a nice green space on the back. After our first visit we were not overwhelmed, but the house also had very nice mountain views from the back, so we decided to pay a second visit. After our second visit we were beginning to like the house more and more and Sara advised us to make an offer well under the asking price. Bidding went over and over and at the end of a Sunday afternoon we came to an agreement with the sellers of the house. We both can say that Sara helped us to get a very good deal.

Too our big surprise, a month later when we were moving from our rental bungalow to our new house, Warren came with his truck and helped us to move our furniture. Where can you find such after sales service?

So when you are moving to the South of Alberta, we would certainly advise you to contact Warren Green. There are a very large number of realtors in the Calgary area, but we can't imagine there is anybody who would have given us a better service than Warren and Sara Green did.

If you have any questions you can contact us by e-mail at: "Urban family"

Berry, Rob, Lucy and Orson

An International Relocation...

We are Joan Bak (41), Joska Eelsingh (39), Carucha (10) and Valeska Bak (9) from The Netherlands and we’ve immigrated to Cayley, AB ( 60 km south of Calgary), Canada as of July 29th 2006.

Our Canada adventure started in 2000 when we visited some Dutch friends who lived in Calgary for two years and were involved in the oil industry. The moment we set our first steps in Canada it felt like coming home. We were overwhelmed by the beauty of this country, the kindness of the people and the never ending space… We came back in 2002 and then decided to investigate our chances to build up a life here.

In 2004 we visited an expat exhibition in Holland and it was there that we met Warren and Sara Green. We had a nice conversation and promised to pay them a visit during our planned holiday to Canada July 2004.

The Bak Family

Instead of using the help of an immigration bureau, we arranged the immigration by ourselves. It took us a lot of time but we learned a lot. In December 2004 we sent in our application for permanent residency in Canada in the Skilled Worker’s Class. In March 2006 we received our visa. So then we started looking for some houses seriously. We already kept an eye on the house market for 2 years and saw the house prices went up for more than 50%. So we contacted Warren to look for a small acreage within our budget. After a while we figured that we had to come to Canada to look for some houses. But through the Canadian Embassy in Berlin we found out that we couldn’t come over to Canada for just one week because our visa’s were already printed in our passports and when would land in Canada we would have to wait for our Permanent Residence Card to be sent to us, which would take at least 4 weeks. What to do? We contacted Warren again and he found us a small acreage. We weren’t able to come over so everything had been arranged perfectly by Warren!! Lawyer, well test, conveyance, insurance. Just buy a house by fax and e-mail!! There was no contract between Warren and us, just his word. He never let us down. Warren assisted us in finding a bank and a good and affordable car insurance, what was difficult because we didn’t have our Canadian driver’s licences yet. Warren also helped us out at the registry agency and even with his trailer to get a 6 ft mower to our house.

Since immigrating with your family is a huge step, it feels so good to having around someone like Warren who can help you out and is a man of his word.

If you have any questions don’t hesitate and e-mail us at joanbak@xplornet.com

Warren Green...What do we say, that hasn't been written before. A very friendly, reliable, helpful, knowledgeable, genuine guy.
We first met Warren in October 2004 when we were in Canada deciding if this was where we wanted to make our home, and almost from the start we new we wanted it to be. We met Warren through friends that had used him. Straight from the start Warren was very helpful, and supportive, he said 'don't worry it will be fine'. When we aired our concerns.
We kept in touch with Warren and sent our papers in January 2005 and 6 months later we were accepted and making plans to sell and make the move to our new country, cat and all.

My husband got offered a job which required him to start in October, though we hadn't sold the house we decided that we would all go out and help Roy settle in. Where we arranged with Warrens help to get started he took us to get our Health care, Social insurance numbers and drivers licences, and entertained our children and took our daughter to a store for a snack when she was hungry. After the 2 weeks I and the children would come back to England until the house was sold, which took a lot longer than we thought it would. As always Warren was at the end of the phone or replying to emails. Finally in June 2006 we joined my husband; where again Warren was there this time helping us to find our first home in Canada. Taking us to viewings always smiling even when he wasn't well, he was there when he said he would be. The house we now have as our home my husband didn't even want to look at but Warren made him, and he changed his mind almost the minute he walked though the door!!!! Even though there were a few problems along the line, Warren was always on the phone with positive words. Right up to the last minute before we moved in Warren was there. He helped with a lawyer, mortgage, and job for my husband just about everything, Warren can help. So if you're thinking of moving to Canada, before you do anything Contact Warren Green it will make your move so much easier, he is the Man Who Can. The Fildes An International Relocation...

We are Peter and Judith Kustermans and we lived in the Netherlands until July 2006. This is the story of our immigration.

In 2001 a Canadian cousin from Peter visited us in Holland. We had a great time together and really enjoyed her stories about Calgary and Canada. On the other hand, she really enjoyed her stay in Holland and we got an invitation to come to Canada one day so she could show us her beautiful country. In the summer of 2003 we planned our trip to Canada. First we spend three weeks in Vancouver, Vancouver Island, The Rockies and Calgary. We were overwhelmed by the beauty of the country and the kindness of the people. After these three amazing weeks we flew to Toronto and spend two weeks with relatives in Ontario. During these two weeks we spoke for the first time about moving to Canada. But it took us another 2 years and another trip to Canada (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and PEI), to make the final decision to immigrate to Canada. Because we fell in love with the western part of Canada we decided to move there. It would be an easier step to move to Ontario, because family could help us out. But our heart was in the western part of Canada. Peter is an electrical engineer, and because of the job opportunities in Alberta we decided to move to Calgary and surroundings. And looking back now, Warren maybe has been a better help than family.
Immigrating is a difficult process. A lot of paperwork has to be done, so we decided to get professional help from Buysse Immigration in the Netherlands. The visa application took us almost a year and a half. It was a long time, but it also gives you (and your family) the time to get used to the idea of moving to the other side of the ocean.
Through the Buysse website we got in contact we another Dutch family who immigrated to Canada. They told us about the great help they got from Warren Green. We found Warren’s website and read all these great testimonials, so we felt confident in contacting him. And until this day, we never regret this decision.

In Holland we contacted Warren by e-mail. Warren promised to pick us up at the airport, get a rental car, find us a place to stay, etc. Compared what we are used to in Holland, all of this was done in an informal way. No contracts, just a promise. And Warren did what he promised us and even more. He helped us with our SIN- number, health insurance, drivers’ license, phones, bank accounts, etc. The first day was a very busy day, but at the end of this day everything was done. Warren really knows his way around in Calgary and surroundings.

We decided that we wanted to live in Okotoks, because it’s only a 15 minute drive to Calgary (Peter works in the south). So Warren showed us around in Okotoks and showed us several houses which were on sale. He really knows what he is talking about. First we could look in the house ourselves and then he said what he thought about it. He was really honest and also said when he didn’t liked the house or gardens (“living in a fish bulb”, when 4 neighbors are looking in your backyard).
He also did the price negotiating on our behalf, found us a lawyer, and was present on the possession date.

Warren also helped Judith to find a job (was a reference) and phoned us on a regular basis to check if everything was alright.

Warren is really a great guy! He keeps his promises and knows what he’s talking about. If you are looking for help with your immigration, you really should call Warren.

If you have any questions you can also contact us: kustermans.j@shaw.ca

Peter and Judith Kustermans - Okotoks AB.

Warren is echt een fantastische man!

The Fildes
An International Relocation...

We first started looking for a country to emigrate to some 7 years ago after living in the U.S. for a couple of years. We knew our criteria - English speaking, opportunities for the kids, a good way of life and spectacular scenery - Canada appeared to meet all our needs. We visited the Emigrate Show at Sandown on several occasions and it was during one of these visits that we first met Warren and Sara. They came across as very pleasant, down to earth people who knew what they were talking about. In 2004 after another visit to the Emigrate Show and another visit to Warren and Sara's stand we made the decision to go for it and emigrate to Canada. We phoned Warren and asked him to set the wheels in motion.

By no stretch of the imagination was it an easy task - we have a very complicated family history and it took some exceptional work on Sara's part to put together an acceptable and impressive file for immigration. I think a lot of people are under the illusion that to complete the necessary immigration paperwork is easy - perhaps this is true if you're highly qualified, only had a few jobs and know where everybody in your family is - for us this wasn't the case. So to use the legal side of their services was really our only option. We both agree every penny was very well spent and we both realize that without Sara's expertise in this field we wouldn't now be living the life we want in Canada. It took a few months to get everything together but our file was eventually submitted and we received notification that the High Commission in London started processing our file 15th April 2005.

At this point never having visited the country we decided to reinforce our decision to emigrate by taking our summer holiday there. Warren told us to leave the accommodation to him so we literally just booked the flights and car hire and did exactly that. I must admit we did become worried when we still didn't know the week before where we were going to be staying for the 3 weeks! Warren, as usual was very laid back and said everything was fine and in-hand. We arrived very tired and very irritable at Calgary Airport - just wanting to climb into bed and sleep. After getting the car Warren met us and we followed him to a nice house in Okotoks where we stayed with Bob and Sara (a couple that Warren had also helped relocate and who incidentally had lived in the same area in England as us!). We had a very nice walk-out 2 bed basement suite which was ideal for our needs.

John had several interviews and was offered several jobs one of which he decided to accept. As soon as Warren and Sara heard about this the necessary meetings and paperwork required for immigration was immediately arranged and completed. We had a wonderful time in Canada and especially fell in love with the scenery and rocky mountains. We even saw a mummy bear and her cub at the side of a road in the rockies!

A few weeks after getting home we received notification that HRSDC had approved John's job. We were now being 'fast-tracked' through the system. To cut a long story short we had our medicals in April 2006 and arrived in Canada 26th June with our permanent residency visas arriving 2nd August. All in all it took us just 16 months to be where we want to be - Canada.

We now live in the North West of Calgary and have views of the rockies from the house. Come September our oldest daughter is off to University in Edmonton with our son and younger daughter starting the local high school. Our dogs have arrived from England, John is settling into his job and still trying to adapt to the laid back approach of the Canadians and I'm enjoying the shopping malls!

To summarise we are all very, very happy here in Canada and know that without Sara and Warren's expertise, knowledge, assistance, advice, patience and friendship we would not be here. They offer no guarantees but to use their services in relocating to Canada greatly improves your chances!

Thanks Warren and Sara.

The Merricks An International Relocation...

In the summer of 2002 we made an orientation trip to Canada to see whether Canada would be our new home. We decided it in about two days, because we loved the country, the nature and its wildlife and the people who live in it. So we started the process of getting the visa. In June of 2004 we completed the whole process and we got our visa. Then we sold the house, quite the jobs and arranged all the things for coming to Alberta. We had some friends over here already and they asked us if we would be interested in getting in contact with Warren. He helped them out very well with the first difficult things when you are new to a country and maybe he was able to arrange an apartment for us. An apartment with two little kids is always better than a hotel, so we contacted Warren. He was very nice to us on the phone and we made a appointment to talk to each other again. At that time he arranged already a place to stay for us. As we are Dutch, we like to have everything arranged we asked him about things to sign, contracts and all those things. The only thing Warren told us all the time was not to worry, everything would be okay. So we arrived on May 14th of 2005 and we were brought to a wonderful place in Okotoks. Warren himself was not in the country at that time, so we still did not meet. But we had contact by mail and we also talked to his lovely wife Sara. They helped us out with so many things, unbelievable! Driver’s licenses, health care, looking for homes etc. Finally we met Warren and it was like we knew him all our live. He was even better than that nice guy on the phone. Everything he said or promised, he did it. A real honest and trustful person. Marc got a job in one and a half week (that’s about the only thing we did ourselves!) and then we started looking for houses. Warren asked us what we would like and we searched the internet. We found some nice locations in Airdrie. That is a little town just 25 km above Calgary. For Marc’s job it was easier to live there, so we looked for houses in Airdrie. Warren took us all four to Airdrie and showed us all the houses. At every place he could show us the advantages and disadvantages. Because we are not used to this type of building, we knew nothing. We come from houses of brick and concrete to houses of wood and plastic. Everything was new to us, but Warren explained it all to us. He showed us around a whole day and on that first day we already found the house of our dreams. So Warren contacted the other real estate agent and told him our offer. They had contact a couple of times and about two days later we had the house. Then we needed a financial person and Warren knew someone. He never met him but heard good stories about him. So everything was arranged. Unfortunately we had to leave the apartment in Okotoks and we did not have our own house yet. But no worries, because Warren called around and he found us a place in Airdrie where we could stay the last three weeks before we got possession of the house. At the day we got possession of the house, Warren went with us to our new place and looked around if everything was the way it should be. He helped us moving our stuff in and it became our first place to live in Canada.

Why choose for Warren when you decide to move to Alberta? That’s easy. He is an honest guy, he does what he promises, he gives you the feeling that you are the only person he works for, he and his wife Sara are two adorable persons, they know everything you have to do when you arrive in Canada, there is nothing too much for him, he is an excellent help during your search for a place to live, he knows the market here and he shares that knowledge with you. But above all he is just a wonderful guy and Warren and Sara will be your first Canadian friends when you decide to get in contact with them when you move to Canada.

The Merricks An International Relocation...

The Merricks An International Relocation...

We asked ourselves on more than one occasion during our emigration experience whether Warren Green is, in fact, the genuine article, but we can assure you that he is.

We met with three re-locators before deciding to put our lives in Warren? hands. The fact that he is a Canadian by birth and therefore knows and understands the country was a big plus. But, what we also liked is his non-patronising personality and the way in which he allows you to make your own choices whilst providing a guiding arm if requested, and the fact that he knows so many people and has so many contacts, which are invaluable.

You have to not only feel comfortable with the re-locator you use, but have to have faith in their ability and trust them implicitly. We had so much confidence in Warren that we purchased a house through him in Okotoks without stepping foot inside it until the day we arrived in Canada, and it was everything he had informed us it would be.

Our circumstances proved to be less than straightforward at times and Warren went above and beyond the call of duty in assisting us.

When our house sale fell through in the U.K, after we had committed ourselves to purchasing the Okotoks property, we called Warren in a blind panic. Warren? philosophy on life is that ?verything happens for a reason?and calmly assured us that it would all work out. He immediately put us in touch with a mortgage consultant and lawyer who duly arranged finance for us, in case we had to purchase in Canada before selling in the U.K. In the event, we didn? need to take advantage of the finance because our house in the U.K. sold at the eleventh hour, but it meant we had an immediate credit history, which can be hard to come by when you first arrive in the country. Warren? philosophy on life proved to be right.

When we were still in the U.K. and realised that we would be having our second child in Canada, we contacted Warren enquiring about where our nearest Doctor? surgery would be so that we could make contact before our arrival in the country. Within a couple of days Warren had responded with not only the address but to say that he had registered us as a family and made an appointment for Sarah.

Three months later we love our new lives here in Canada. We put a lot of our happiness down to the incredibly smooth transition from our old life to our new life, which we achieved only through using Warren.

"We are strong believers in that 'what is meant to be, is meant to be' and although we have been researching our emigration to Calgary for a little of 4-years, it was not until 1-month prior to our departure from England that I discovered Warren & Alberta Immigration through nothing other than the internet! Without a doubt - he was one of the best finds so far in our journey to Canada. Upon arriving in Calgary, April 2005, Warren greeted us at the airport and had already pre-arranged a rental car and temporary accommodation which made a huge difference when you consider how much work goes into moving abroad. Within 24-hours of arrival Warren helped us take care of social insurance numbers, Alberta Health Insurance, bank account and cell phones. Within a week of our arrival we had put together a list of houses and Warren took us on the grand tour through most parts of Calgary. However, he had recommended a smaller town called Okotoks to us, which we had heard of but never visited on our previous travels to Calgary. We just thought that it would be too far from Calgary, primarily thinking in terms of work and amenities. Upon arrival to this little diamond of a town - weinstantly felt a strong affinity to what lay before our eyes. The homes we started to look at were close to a private lake which is just perfect if you have kids, walking/biking trails, recreational center, golf course(s), schools and the list can easily go on. Even more amazing was the minimal commute time to Calgary considering the distance!

Warren is - happy, punctual, always a phone call away from you, knowledgeable about everything you need to know as a new Canadian and just a pleasure to know as a friend!

Not only has Warren helped shape our future here, he also provided some excellent words of encouragement when I needed them most. In doubts about work, Warren encouraged me to establish my own business here in Okotoks and Calgary. So far most of my work has been in the Okotoks area and so I haven't yet even needed to venture into the big(ger) city!!!

In summary - do not, I repeat, do not hesitate in recruiting Warren & Sarah in your journey to Canada. We guarantee you won't be disappointed!"

The Merricks An International Relocation...

When we first arrived in Calgary we were bleary-eyed with jet lag coupled with excitement and general anxiety about what was to come next. But Warren made sure we did the important stuff straight way - SIN Number, bank account and Health Care Card - even if we didn't feel like it he drove us around and made sure we did this.

Warren also drove us round looking for areas to live and was patient whilst we made decisions about properties we looked at. He never tried to push us one way or the other, rather he used our discussions in house viewings to find out what we liked.

Warren also helped my husband get a job in the same week we landed - an invaluable connection during an uncertain time of our lives.

We would recommend Warren to anyone thinking of immigrating to this area.

What can I say that others before me have not. Warren is a good guy and a professional, there has not been a time when I have phoned or e-mailed that he has not returned my calls. I like to think I'm his only client as he is always there for me anytime of day, but I know he's dealing with half of Okotoks and their problems.

We moved to Okotoks Sept 04 and like for many others and more to follow Warren met us at the airport. We gave Warren less than a week when I phoned him form England to tell him we we're on our way 'help', and he did, with his usual 'don't worry, I'll sort everything this end' and he did, because it was short notice he could only get us into a B&B, and what a B&B, it was fantastic, the setting was great, looking out to the mountains, the breakfast was great, and the owners were great, we still keep in touch with them and consider them in our new circle of friends, and we have made many, all down to Warrens first initial introduction. We stayed in the B&B for 5 nights then Warren found a fully furnished apartment, which we needed because none of our belongings had arrived from England.

When we first got here we weren't sure whether to move to a acreage or stay in town, Warren showed us both, in the end we decided with town because of settling our son in school and making those very important friendships and guess what 6 months on we're moving to our acreage, which Warren found for us, no easy feet, we didn't want to be no more than 10 min's out of town, within our budget, and have privacy, he found it.

I can't tell you how smooth everything has gone for us and it's all down to one guy, Warren. My husband has a great job which he loves ( most of the time), our son is in a great school, which he loves, and I'm doing what I love, shopping and lunching with the girls, living the good life, can it get any better.

Thanks Warren, your a great guy to know and a good friend and thankyou Sarah for putting up with the endless phone calls to your home and the constant interruptions to your life, YOUR A GREAT TEAM.

Mark and I are card-holding cynics; so when we read the other testimonials on Warren Green's website, to be honest, we took them with a LARGE pinch of salt. We had also been misled and misguided by a bunch of people whose claim "to smooth the whole process of immigration" was utterly laughable in view of their treatment of us. You could not be more disillusioned or worried than we were pending our immigration to Canada. Why should this "Warren guy" be any different?

To put it simply... the man does EVERYTHING he says he will. Warren promised to pick us up from the airport in Calgary the first time we called him, a couple of strangers he had never spoken to before, so he did. He took us straight to a Condo he had helped arrange for us, picking up a hire car at a discounted rate on the way. We picked up mobiles from the place he recommended at the best rate available, plus an additional bonus $25 worth of calls included.

We've taken just over 6 weeks to achieve what many immigrants need 6 months to get to, all on the advice and encouragement of one man. And to cap it all, we take possession of the house of our dreams at the end of March (2005) when in January we had never even heard of the town where we're buying! We've already introduced Warren to friends in England who want to join us over here.

By all means hold on to your cynicism, but DON'T let that stop you contacting Warren. It's the single most positive step you can take if you want to immigrate to Alberta. If you need further assurance that a) we ARE real people and b) we haven't been paid for writing this, feel free to email Mark and Jules on gremlin@cwcom.net.

The Merricks An International Relocation...

After reading the comments made by others there is little more need said about the capabilities of Warren Green.

This man amazed us with his patience, understanding and unforgettable personality. How many men do you know would babysit 4 sleep deprived kids and entertain a cranky englishman and his neurotic wife?

Warren lives by a simple saying "Don't Worry". When we were with him we never did and things ran more smoothly than the Sheep River itself!

Few people are as good at their jobs as Warren is because he loves what he does and he's damn good at it. He not only makes immigrating easy, more importantly he makes it fun.

We feel we have known Warren and Sara forever - thats how they make you feel - as if you've come home!

An Update On The Merrick's... UK Flag

Relocating to a new country takes a lot of contemplation and planning the Merricks did more than enough of both so that there move from England to Canada was smooth and easy.

Mez and Deb and there 4 children Abbee (12)Heather (11) Taylor (7) and Beth (5) have taken on their new life near High River 20 kilometers south of Calgary, Alberta. They own 12 acres of land which now includes some animals.

When asked about the farm, Debbie proudly claims that the farm animals have become reason enough for them to stay in Canada. At the moment, they have four alpacas, one miniature donkey, six chickens and one horse. If we were in England we would never have been able to afford this land. "I have always wanted a place in the countryside where I could look after horses. The children, too, are excited about there animals and are not making demands of returning to England."

An International Relocation...

We first contacted Warren following the recommendation of some good friends who had already made the move to Canada.

We had completed our permanent residency application ourselves and applied for residency in February 2004, but we wanted some help in finding employment and info on the general day to day Canadian life, for which Warren has proved himself invaluable.

We arranged to visit Calgary for a week in April 2004, by which time Warren had already found a prospective employer. I did a days work for the employer and was offered a job, which was great. The only problem being that my employer obviously didn't want to wait the average processing time of 2 - 3 years for my permanent visa to come through. We loved Alberta, so my wife and I needed no encouragement in deciding to apply for a work visa. Warren was on the case and before we flew back home all of the paperwork was completed for a work visa.

I arrived in Calgary in July, without my family and was greeted by Warren, who within a couple of hours, had taken me to get a Social Insurance number, a cell phone and a hire car. I sat my Journeyman exam within 5 days of landing, which thankfully I passed and was able to start work the next day. Warren was back on the case and a few days later I had a 2 year extension to my work visa, which was more than we had hoped for and meant that my wife and daughter booked their flights and joined me in August.

Within a week of my wife landing, we had bought a house. Warren is the exact opposite to estate agents in the UK, he makes sure that you are getting the best deal possible and he won't let you over stretch yourself on a house purchase. By 1st September we had moved into a fantastic home in Cochrane only a few minutes from the Rockies. Needless to say we haven't looked back since.

We would totally recommend that anyone thinking of moving to Alberta get in contact with Warren. He does not just get you to Canada, after 7 months he still phones to check we are ok. He really cares about your immigration being a success and we swear he knows everything and everybody in Calgary!!!

Thank you for all of your help Warren.

After nearly 2 years of waiting, at the end of 2001 we received our documents allowing our immigration to Canada .We found an ad for Warren Green and contacted him via e-mail to see if he could offer us any advice regarding our move. Warren did a lot more than we had hoped?e found us a property which we then purchased via fax and e-mail without a hitch, when we arrived in Canada he met us at the airport and drove us to see our house for which up until then we had only seen in photographs, we were not disappointed! It was a beautiful house, close to school, recreation facilities, parks and only a short walk to town. For the next two days Warren drove us around getting us fixed up with Alberta Health, Social Insurance Numbers, Bank Accounts, Insurance etc. During all of this he remained cheerful and kept two very bored kids entertained. Warren also introduced us to the school principal and got the kids enrolled in school. It was a hectic couple of days and at times we felt very pressured but at the end of the two days everything we needed to start our new life in Canada was in place. For all of his help Warren charged us nothing! The only money he made was his part of the commission on our house purchase! We kept in touch with Warren and his wife Sara over the next couple of years both socially and professionally.

Warren has always been there for us, he readily writes job references when needed and he is always there for advice on everything from employment to well water to alfalfa! Earlier this year we wanted to move to an acreage and obviously Warren was our choice for realtor. He really had his work cut out for him?We wanted to be in the country.. But, not too far that the kids had to change school. Which really limited our options.

We wanted some land?ut, our finances were pretty limited. Which left the options to a bare minimum! Our house went on the market. It sold in 10 days! Great ,but?e had nowhere to move to! I was panicking! Warren in his usual manner told me "Chill, something will turn up". We viewed the few acreages available in our price range. One smelled so bad we had to come out for air! The next 60's retro! The next was nice but a long bus ride to school and a long journey for me to work.

Finally a really nice house a few acres and the right price, unfortunately conditionally sold We made an offer anyway but the couple that made the first offer managed to meet the terms of the conditions and we lost out.. I was really upset. Again in typical Warren manner I was told, "don't worry, everything happens for a reason". Then a short pause "might not be for a good reason" then a chuckle. With no other option we decide to go for the nice place that would mean lots of traveling. On the day that Warren was bringing us the contracts to sign, he called us. Something had just come onto the market and he wanted to check it out, he would pick us up on the way.

OH MYGOD!!! Beautiful house, 10 acres of land, a barn, stables? It was perfect and at a perfect price! Not good enough for Warren. He wrote in a million conditions for the sellers to agree to?he barn would be painted, the basement floor done, water tanks put in, fencing done etc, etc I thought the sellers would tell him to take his conditions and put them where the sun don't shine, but no, they agreed to everything!

We moved into our new house in August. I have now fulfilled a dream I have had since I was 5 years old?wning my own horse. In fact I have two, in fact one of them was previously owned by none other than Warren Green! I love it here. We get up to blazing sunrises, making kaleidoscope of colour across the valley. Feel free to contact me at cvickery@okotoks.net

Deer regularly bounce across our front field. A horned owl frequents our trees. At night the sky sparkles with a million stars and the coyotes call to the moon. I look at all these things around us and know ?e truly are HOME.

Warren Green - A Man Who Keeps His Promise

Our experience with Warren has been fantastic, we have been impressed by his kindness, great sense of humour and his attention to small details. We first heard of Warren through the Canada News back in 2001, when we were busy compiling our application. We met him at the Emigration Roadshow in Sandown in 2002 and we never lost contact from that date on. We were unfortunately one of the many applications affected by the change to the points system for Skilled Worker Visas. During the 2 years is took to get our visas through Warren was a constant source of encouragement, even when we were frustrated at the long wait to move our application along. He always found something positive to lift our mood and was always there to listen to our grumbles!!

Warren made us many promises and kept every one of them. When we finally had our visas through he told us that the hard work was over - and again he was right. Due to his hard work and by listening to our needs he made our move stress free. He was a friendly face waiting to greet us at Calgary airport - at the end of a long flight and a very long wait in the queue at Immigration - with 2 young and very tired children.

He had arranged beautiful accomodation at the Pilgrim's Pause Bed & Breakfast in Okotoks - which was perfect for our needs - we were given the whole basement suite and were warmly welcomed by our hosts. The girls enjoyed playing in the huge backyard and we felt very lucky to have found a home away from home! In the following weeks Warren was there to greet us with a friendly smile each morning and helped us sort out our priorities - a home, school and car. He helped to orientate us with Okotoks and was never to busy to answer the children's questions - or forget that they needed feeding!!! He even went back to the airport with my husband to pick up our cats, flown over from England and helped to deliver them to a local cattery!!!

With all the many important decisions that we needed to make Warren was always there with good advice but we never felt pressured into making any decisions we weren't comfortable with - we made the choices and Warren always made sure that we got a fair deal. Although we initially felt very dependant upon Warren, he never minded our endless streams of questions - and as we began to gain in confidence he was happy to be guided by us.

Even once we had bought a house Warren did not disappear - he introduced us to other local families from Britain and helped us take the first few important steps to making friendships with people who had been through the same experience as us. He was there on moving in day to check that everything was in order with the house and that we were happy with our decision.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our first 6 months in Canada and would not consider returning to England. We know that what seemed like such a huge decision - to emigrate was made effortless by the kindness shown to us by Warren. We feel we will never be able to express enough our appreciation and thanks for all of his hard work. Warren's excellent knowledge and expertise in his professional relocation services are second to none. He researches thoroughly what your needs are and does everything he can to accomodate your needs - no matter how great or small.

I would not hesitate in recommending Warren to anyone considering making the leap across the pond and hope you will enjoy his sense of humour and kindness as much as we have. Thanks Warren - you were a star.

UK Flag If there is one single piece of advice we could give anyone thinking of emigrating to Canada; it would be 'Warren Green'. We started off with a dream, a new life in Canada and the perfect home in the beautiful foot hills of the Rocky Mountains. Warren has made that dream come true. We can not say enough about the man; he has boundless energy, endless optimism and appears to know everyone in Calgary. His advice and support has been both insightful and inspiring. He was there when we needed him and has given us space when required. He is worth his weight in gold.

UK Flag If you are considering using Warren & Sarah to assist you with probably the biggest, most important move of your life, we only have one piece of advice for you ?go for it! It?l be one of the best decisions you?l ever make (along with deciding to move to Alberta!)

We first contacted Warren almost two years ago, prior to coming out for yet another research trip. We were on the phone to one another for weeks before we came out, during which time he provided us with tons of useful information, contacts, links etc. Our trip was totally organized before we even got to Calgary which meant that the three weeks spent out here were incredibly productive. We spent most days with Warren. He showed us a range of houses in the various areas we were interested in, and explored many potential business opportunities. His time and knowledge were invaluable. He also arranged accommodation and a hire car at a much lower price than we would have otherwise paid.

We finally moved to Canmore in July 2004. Before we arrived Warren found us some perfect short-term rental accommodation (and negotiated a discount for us!) and kept us in the picture when it came to real estate matters in this rapidly evolving town. He met us at the airport, and sorted out getting SIN numbers, Alberta Health Cover, a rental car, a cell phone and got us to our rental home all in one day! It would have taken us ages to sort all that out ourselves ?with several trips back and forth to Calgary too. Many of our new friends that have made the move to Alberta, without the support of someone like Warren, still have these chores hanging over them. Warren also inspired us to take our driving tests and buy a car within 2 weeks of landing. On top of that, we were out looking at houses with Warren & Sarah 3 days after landing and found (& bought) our dream-home after just five days of becoming Canadian Residents! Don? get me wrong ?they didn? pressure us. It was quite the opposite ?we were ready and eager to go, and they made themselves available at a moment? notice.

The best thing about hooking up with Warren & Sarah, though, isn? the professionalism with which they operate, or the vast banks of knowledge that they will readily impart, it? that we feel that we?e made real friends in them, and that they are the sort of people who will never let you down. They are honest, sincere and generous, as well as being lots of fun ?all qualities which become even more important when you?e in a unfamiliar new place, away from friends and family. We really can? recommend them highly enough, nor thank them enough for all that they?e done, and what they continue to do. Even though we?e settled in our new home, they are always available for friendship and advice.

If you would like to talk to us in person, please feel free to email us at: milli_abrams@hotmail.com.

"WHAT A DIAMOND!"

A friend suggested we phone Warren, when she discovered that we were considering emigrating to the Calgary area. It turned out to be the best phone call we ever made.

We first met Warren when we visited Calgary for a research trip in March 2004, at which time Rick also sat tests and interviews for Calgary Police Service. Warren sat with us over a cup of coffee whilst we bombarded him with questions - offer quite obscure ones!! He then took us around some areas and communities to give us a feeling for the areas and house prices. Whilst we were here he kept in contact, making sure that we had no problems or questions, even disappearing to Sandown Emigration Show in the middle of our visit and phoning on his return to ensure that everything was going smoothly. We didn't feel pressured or harassed at all, he is a genuinely nice, caring person who wants you to make the right choices for yourself and your family.

Rick got the job and we returned to live in Okotoks with our two daughters in May 2004. Warren picked us up from the airport, settled us into a condo, took us shopping and to pick up a hire car - the list is endless, I could go on forever! He seems to do the same thing for everyone. I don't know where he gets all the hours from, he is on the go constantly. This mans generosity knows no bounds.

As I am typing this we have been here 7?weeks and have just moved into a dream home. Without Warren and his reassurances; both from the UK during the visa process, and since we have arrived, I am sure the process would have been a lot more stressful.

I could gone on singing Warrens praises for hours - but will stop at saying a very big thank you to Warren for all of his help and support, but mostly for his friendship.

We would not hesitate to recommend Warren to anyone. Especially as whilst we have been here we have heard some real horror stories about realtors who are out for only one thing - MONEY. Warren is the complete package that anyone could ask for in a RELOCATION EXPERT.

Welcome to the right man for the job! In reading the Warren's testimonials, you will be struck by how impressed everyone is with Warren's professionalism and his friendliness. Well the good news is that it is all true! Warren helped my family and my parents return to Canada after 20 years in England.

His assistance was invaluable, from arranging rental accommodation for our arrival, to finding terrific houses for us and my parents respectively, and the frequent trips into Calgary to register for healthcare, social insurance numbers, or just a drop off at the shopping mall. Warren knows what people need to do when arriving in Canada and how to get it done. In my case he was even able to assist me with getting pre-approved for a mortgage before I even landed in Canada. His desire to help knew no end.

Warren is more than just a real estate agent, he quickly becomes a friend and this is because he truly cares about making the transition to Canada as smooth as possible for his clients, and staying in touch after the house is bought.

All we can say to Warren is thank you very much you made a daunting task (even for returning Canadians) incredibly easy!

An International Relocation

Our emigration journey began in August 2003 when we submitted our application for our permanent residency visa. We were warned that the processing time could be up to 2 years and, being the impatient people that we are, we wanted everything to happen ?ow? We therefore planned a quick 6 day fact finding trip mid October 2003. The main goal of our trip was to establish what area we wanted to settle in and for Les to make contact with some prospective employers..

We had been subscribing to Canada News since June 2003 and chose Warren? smiley face to assist us in our journey. We are normally quite independent people and pride ourselves on never needing to ask for help, but we thought an ?nsiders?knowledge would be a benefit here, this was definitely a good move. We began communicating via e-mail and also met Warren at the Emigrate Show at Sandown the week prior to our trip. We met up with Warren a couple of days after arrival in Calgary, he gave us a whirlwind tour of Okotoks, showed us some properties and helped us open a bank account. Les then spent time setting up informal meetings with three prospective employers, he was lucky enough to be offered employment by all three. This was the real accelerator we needed to speed up our journey and we could now apply for a work permit rather than wait for our permanent visa..

We returned to the UK to start the ball rolling for our work permit and got a great Christmas present in the form of confirmation that this would be granted. We sold our house and left the UK on the 30th January 2004, we landed in Calgary in snow and temperatures of -25c. Warren was there to meet us at the airport, good job he has a big truck as most of our luggage allowance was taken up with ski equipment! He immediately took us grocery shopping, to buy a cell phone and a fax machine, then onto the rental accomodation he had arranged for us. Warren gave us one day to recover from our jet lag then got us super organised and in a matter of less than a week he helped us purchase one house, 2 cars, obtain SIN numbers, Alberta Health Insurance, arrange car insurance, boarding for our cat and organise driving tests. To say we were mentally exhausted at the end of our first week here would be an understatement. Without Warrens help we would not have been able to achieve all this in such a short space of time. Warren is always there to give words of encouragement and his philosophies in life are that if it is meant to happen it will, be patient and don? worry. So many thanks Warren for all your help, you made a quick journey even quicker and you are doing a fantastic job in helping all of us stressed out Brits adopt a more relaxed and Canadian attitude to life, keep up the good work..

The Townley Family The Townley Family ?Mark and Catherine, Adam,12 and Eleanor, 9 years old.

We first heard of Warren through a contact in the UK and initially contacted him prior to our reconnaissance trip to Calgary in 2002. His help has been invaluable. At all times, whether via email or during actual visits to Calgary, Warren went out of his way to accommodate our search for both a house and a future school for the children. His website may imply that he works mostly around the city and the rural areas to the south, but his research on locations and neighbourhoods in the NW where we eventually chose to live, impressed us greatly. His knowledge and experience within the international relocation sector is second to none. His laid back and unruffled approach to his work actually serves to his clients?advantage ?in other words, a challenging and stressful event is made easier and more productive. And fun! The level of detail that he went in to was extremely useful. For example, distance to school, to facilities, the presence of other families with children and many other relevant factors which would influence such an important decision as where to live. We spent several days driving around rural locations and kept to a very punctual schedule when it came to house viewing. He had thought of everything and guided us through the process with care, a lovely sense of humour and practical advice.

We landed on November 1st 2003. Warren and his wife Sara were there, ready and waiting at the airport. They had organised and collected a rental van for us and between the two vehicles our family of four plus labrador were safely escorted to our house. Sara even drove Mark to a supermarket en route. The weather wasn? great and they weren? too keen on the thought of us driving around, with jet lag, to find a restaurant late at night. And that? really the kind of people they are: caring, professional, efficient and extremely kind - above and beyond any expectations that we had, but well within their level of service.

We regard them as friends, not as professional contacts and have no doubt that we shall continue to remain in touch. Our family photo shown here was in fact taken by Warren when he came to see Adam play hockey.

International Relocation

We first met Warren and Sara at the Emigrate show in March 2003.

From the moment we met him we found him to be very open, honest and enthusiastic.  Whenever we have needed any help Warren has always been there for us.  He always replies to E-mail and phone calls very promptly and has a very professional attitude.

We have no reservations in recommending his services to anybody wishing to move to the Calgary area.

After dealing with Warren for the past 9 months we now consider him to be our friend.

The Hills An International Relocation...

We first contacted Warren when we were preparing to come to Calgary from the UK on a fact-finding trip, a trip for which Warren had already found us terrific accommodation close to the centre of Calgary. When we met him we were overwhelmed by his thoughtfulness and ability to listen to what we wanted and to help us find it.

He spent hours taking us to schools all over Calgary and Okotoks getting our SIN numbers and Health Registration. We looked at houses, shops and car lots and all the time he had to put up with a seven year old who only wanted to know when he could go swimming!

We kept in contact when we went back to the UK to complete the sale of our house until we landed in July. Our relocation was easy, exciting and enjoyable-everything we wanted it to be, because we had Warren to hold our hands. He found us our perfect home at a great price. The whole process from looking to completing took only 3 and a half weeks. Warren ensured the whole process was conducted professionally and to a high standard, we even found him on the morning of completion checking out the jacuzzi (not literally!)

Thank you Warren for being there, for your support and most of all for your friendship. It? good to know that you are still there for us, only a phone call away.

We believe that you wouldn? find anyone better to help you with your move and don? hesitate to recommend Warren to you.

If any one contemplating the move to Canada would like information or a chat please contact us at stuart.hill@3web.net or call us on 403-995-9888. We would love to hear from you.

Consummate professional - if we were forced into summing up Warren in 2 words. We met Warren at Sandown, right at the beginning of our immigration process, and got on like the proverbial house on fire. Throughout the lengthy period he was always there with advice and an immediate reply to all of the copious e-mails. We steadily built a network of contacts referred by Warren, and whilst on the fact finding trip were amazed at how he would go out of his way to assist.

Buying an assumable house over the internet was easier than using e-bay, and safer. Nothing was too much effort and even after arriving and settling he is still the omnipresent advisor. When it comes to relocating - Warren has got it down to a fine art. He will fight in your corner and implacably smooth out all the inevitable hiccups that come with moving to Canada. A genuine and totally reliable guy and a good friend, there are plenty of people over here ready to take as much money off you as possible - not this guy - he knows that not a single person that he assists would hesitate to recommend him to others. We have met plenty of immigrants that have been let down by other notable characters, do not make the same mistake as them. I have also met British immigrants that are still singing Warren's praises 3 years on. If you need any questions answered feel free to drop me an e-mail.

Julie and Graham "Thank goodness for Warren Green" is a phrase that we have used a lot recently. Without his help and advice emigrating to Canada and settling into our new home would have been such hard work that we would have turned around and gone back to our safe and comfortable life in England. Reading some of the other testimonials you can get a very clear idea of what Warren does, the service he provides and the type of person he is. However, for us I think he provided a unique service above and beyond the call of duty and for that he ought to get recognition.

When we emigrated to Canada we brought with us our two giant Newfoundland dogs. Being London dogs, they are used to physical barriers such as six foot fences to determine their territory. Here, on the acreage where we live, there is a psychological rather than a physical definition of what is theirs. The dogs, needless to say, had a problem with this, and proceeded to visit all the other properties in the area! Our dogs look like black bears, and since not everyone is partial to two black bears wandering down their drives, we were naturally very, very concerned. When Warren rang to see how we were settling in - something he did regularly, I told him the problem, and my worry that harm may come to my two beautiful, friendly dogs. I need not have worried. He had a solution! Enter Warren, like a knight in shining armour; auger (thing for digging holes) in one hand, posts and two eight foot long gates in the other. In a temperature of +30? he proceeded (with a little bit of help from me) to pound, crush, (curse) and wiggle through 4' of compacted earth to make four holes in which to sink the posts on which the fence extension and gates were to hang. He did this just to ensure the safety and well being of my two dogs! And all for the price of one glass of water and a very, very small bottle of beer! Imagine your local Estate Agent doing that in England! He did it with humour and grace and an attitude that "anyone would have done the same if they had known the problem". Needless to say, we think the man is wonderful. He further proved this when, through his contacts, he was able to help my husband get a job, something that was proving difficult as we had no other contacts but Warren.

Warren has helped and aided us in so many ways that to list them all would take too long. And all for nothing - something I was deeply suspicious of at first. He is a charming and thoughtful man - a gem.

Thank you so much Warren for making this transition so easy. And if you ever want a change of career I would definitely recommend you as a Fence Erector! (among other things!)

An International Relocation...

The Harrisons We haven't even landed yet and we are indebted to Warren. "We" are Caroline, Lloyd, Alexander (5) and Joel (2) and are currently awaiting our paperwork before we immigrate to Canada hopefully at the end of October 2003.

We came across Warren Green, initially via the internet and then through Canada News, when we were doing our preliminary research into the possibility of going to live in Canada. Being British (and one of us being a lawyer to boot!) we were naturally sceptical about an offer of comprehensive assistance which was without charge, and we ignored the adverts.

We then met Warren for the first time in March 2003 at the "Emigrate" show at Sandown, and instantly took a liking to him and Sara, his wife. He told us that we could e-mail or telephone him as often as we liked, about anything, no matter how trivial it seemed. Warren might regret uttering those words, but we certainly have taken him up on them!

He has been an invaluable source of information about everything to do with our hoped-for destination (Calgary) and has been a stalwart at times when we've needed moral support and encouragement (well, this Immigration business is such a long, drawn-out affair!).

We made an exploratory trip over to Calgary in May and there was Warren to hold us by the hand! He met us at the airport (despite the fact that he had to queue in traffic for over 2 hours because of a chemical spillage!), took us to pick up our vehicle (a huge, family-sized Dodge Caravan; ideal, easy to drive and really cheap!) and then on to our accommodation. The accommodation was great (I can be very fussy!), incredibly cheap, immaculate and the perfect base for our fact-finding mission. Not content with this level of service, Warren took me shopping for groceries!

After a day of rest, Warren took us to look at some houses (old and new), got us a tour of a school and showed us a great location for our family to live. A whole day's worth of his time was taken up and yet we had told him from the outset that we weren't going to buy a house this time, we just wanted to look! As it happened, we loved the area we were shown so much that we decided there and then that we did want to buy a house. Warren, however, wouldn't let us jump straight in (proof that he's not just after easy money!), he made us spend the next few days looking around Calgary and checking out other residential areas that would potentially fit the bill. We did see some fabulous places, but none of them met the bill quite like the place Warren had shown us at the beginning of our serach. He had guaged our family's needs and shown us the perfect location - he had then made sure we really thought about what we were doing, checked and then double-checked. The only pressure put on anyone was by us asking Warren to come with us to the developers. He came - three times in total, one of which he spent amusing our children (they think Warren is great) and buying us donuts and coffee whilst we negotiated and discussed contractual terms with the Builders!!! For 4 hours!!!!

In between times, Warren took us to a bank so we could set up accounts for ourselves, invited us to his home to have dinner together with Sara. (They didn't so much as flinch when our children smashed an ornament and knocked a glass of red wine over their lovely, light-coloured carpet!), At the end of our much too short stay, he took us back to the airport.

So where's the catch, you may ask? Well, there really isn't one. Really! The only way Warren will make money is from the seller of the house you may buy if you decide to use Warren's expertise as a realtor. You won't pay him a penny. He has no guarantee (nor does he ask for any such thing) that you will use him as your realtor, but frankly, why on earth would you let anyone else do it for you when you already have a friendly, reliable, and trustworthy expert there at hand?

Since our visit, Warren has remained in touch, answering our ongoing queries, helping us to chase paperwork and information, and, we hope he feels the same, has become our friend. We really couldn't commend him highly enough to you.

The Aulds If you have just clicked onto Warrens web site then look no further. This guy will be able to help you big time. Whether you are emigrating from such places as UK, Australia, Belgium, or just moving internally within Canada.

Once we had clicked on to his site, we were able to contact some of his previous clients who verified how good he is, which gave us a level of security. The relocation package that Warren offers is fantastic.

From picking us up at the airport, getting us fed(our first meal on Canadian soil was at our request, a burger diner called Peters Diner on Trans Canada 1 highway which if you like burgers you will never want a Big Mac/Whopper again), arranging for insurance cover for car/house, helping us buy our dream house within a week of arriving, driving me to customs to sort out our belongings, even driving downtown Calgary to take me to a job interview. These were just a few of the things Warren did for us, the list goes on.

Trust Warren completely. His insurance contact saved us $2000 on car insurance, he knows where to get the cheapest mortgage rate, we got an amazing 4.45% fixed for 5 years.

Whilst looking for our house, Warren was with us all the way. He advised us where we should look, and what we should look for. He will show you houses which need repair to houses which are maintenance free. What helps is if you can prepare a list of properties you want to look at and areas. Look on www.MLS.ca. Warren is not a 9-5 sort of guy, he will help as long as you need him to, to get the right house. Our deal was done within a week of arriving, Warren came on Saturday evening around 10 pm to get us to sign the forms. Warren can arrange for companies to give surveys on your potential property, well water quality, even companies to give quotes on renovations.

The really good thing is he is a realtor working for you, not the seller!!!

Good luck to all of you,

Above and beyond the call of duty

The KendrewsHaving arrived in Calgary as landed immigrants for 4 weeks we have confirmed our findings from previous visits that Canadians really are the most helpful and friendly of people we have ever met.

However by an average Canadian? standards Warren Green goes way beyond what you would expect of any of them. UK Estate Agent? all over the world would go pale if they thought they would have to compete.

From the word go Warren has been an endless source of help, information, and assistance with absolutely everything from ?aving a house built?to renting accommodation, from hiring cars to taking driving tests, from airport pick-ups to setting up bank accounts and God knows how much more including making sure we did not over pay for many, many items.

All of this has been done with the utmost thoughtfulness, care and consideration and often at very inconsiderate times to both Warren and his wife Sara.

Warren we really do thank you for all you have done and your continuing offers to help out with any further needs.

An International Relocation...

Trudy, Rob and BenjaminI came over to Canada without my Wife and Son having left 22 years of Service life in the British Armed Forces to be greeted with this smiling face, His name Warren Green. I was still in fast mode from leaving the rain clouds of England and this man cheered me up straight away. Within days I had set up a bank account and registered with Alberta Health, my SIN number and had seen numerous houses. My wife was in shock after a few calls when I had informed her I had secured a home for us all with the help of Warren. The first week was over and I had more or less done everything apart from my driving test and that was soon after when I had time to read the Highway Code book.

Warren is a very sociable guy that will make you feel very comfortable with a fantastic sense of humour which is a godsend when you are trying to make a new start for yourself as you do get a little flustered.

We would not hesitate to recommend Warren to anyone who was thinking of immigrating to Canada as he is so thorough and has a very supportive wife too. Once you have yourselves sorted out and have settled Warren will still call to see if everything is ok and that's when you know you have a friend for life.

Thank you Warren and Sarah for everything and for being friends too.

Your good friends Trudy, Rob and Benjamin.

An International Relocation...

We met Warren at the York Emigration Show about 2 years ago.

He told us about Calgary and about the services that he offered. We told him that we planned to visit, we exchanged details and left thinking how can he offer so much and not charge us.

We kept in contact over the following months until are planned visit. We had arranged to meet, Warren spent the afternoon showing us around the area and showing us some houses, at this stage Warren did not know whether we would even get our visa's. At the end of our tour round Warren invited us back to his home for dinner, where we met his lovely wife Sara. We left Calgary thinking this was the place for us, and Warren was the guy that we would like to use to help purchase our new home.

At short notice we received our visa's, but because of some time limitations we had to make the move much quicker than we planned, Warren was great, we e-mailed him with our plans, within a short time he replied saying that he had reserved us short term accommodation and a hire car, and he would meet us at the airport at 0100Hrs, we couldn't ask for anything more.

We arrived on a bank holiday, but that didn't matter to Warren, he picked us up and took us shopping, the next day he took us to where our son was enrolling in college, waited most of the day, he then took us to collect our hire car and to open bank accounts. Warren left us to our own devises for a couple of days but we had numerous calls from him making sure we were ok, he returned a few days later and took us to get our sin numbers, our Alberta health cards, and help us with job hunting.

Warren also helped us with the purchase of our car, he located the car, and even went and checked it out before telling us, making sure that the car was a good one.We had already discussed our requirements for housing and it wasn't long before Warren was calling us to say that he had located us a house and he would collect us to take a look, we fell in love with the house, the deal finalized within a couple of hours, we moved in 30 days later. Warren arrived to meet us on the day we took possession and made sure everything was in order.

Warren does exactly what he says he is going to do and more. He is great, generous and sincere. Warren is more than a friend to us, and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Warren thank you for making our move so stress free.

Warren Green Saved my Sanity!!!!!

Warren Green (or Saint Warren, as his is due Title) came to us like an angel from the darkness and rescued us from the clutches of an evil realtor. Bewildered and lost, he saved us from unwise decisions and an unhappy future. As friendly as he is professional, he guided and helped us through the building of our home, finding us temporary accommodation and sorting our schools for our children. Saint Warren is truly one of the nicest people I have ever met. He is a veritable encyclopaedia of knowledge and nothing is ever too much trouble for him.

Ask yourselves what you want - a disinterested and unhelpful realtor whose job is governed solely by pecuniary advantage or a genuine, happy and extremely knowledgeable man who will guide you through the stressful and sometimes complicated process of settling in another country.

Warren has been a Godsend to us and we would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone thinking of moving to Alberta.

An International Relocation...

To whom it may concern.

Our consultant for immigration, Victoria Laskowski, recommended Warren Green to us.

Warren made contact with ourselves whilst we were still in the UK. He immediately put us at ease with his confident manner, explaining that he would organize everything in Canada and we need only worry about the UK side of things. It was soon apparent to us that Warren would greatly surpass the role of realtor. His welcoming smile met us at the Calgary airport reassured us that everything was going to be OK. Warren had already found temporary accommodation for us; he took us shopping for food supplies, found us a rental care and took us to get our insurance cards for work and Alberta Health cards.

Despite us having a rental car Warren insisted on taking us back to the airport to collect our cat a few days later, this further evidence of his. He kept in regular contact with ourselves and took us to the area we wished to live and showed us all the local amenities.

Warren took us to all the houses that were both in the area we wanted to live and the price range. He pointed out the pros and cons of all the individual features each house had. We are of the opinion that he made sure we made an informed decision on our new home.

When Kev? work took him to Brazil, he kept in regular contact with Sue and greatly assisted in the move to our new home, a move that Sue had to do alone as Kev was still away. Warren and his truck were on hand when we needed to collect furniture from a store in the city.

We cannot begin to express our gratitude to Warren, not only is he an outstanding realtor agent we have also come to regard him as a friend. If you would like to clarification of any point, please do not hesitate to contact us at kevandsue.holt@shaw.ca.

An International Relocation...

After a very exciting trip across the sea with four children we landed at three in the morning in a very snowy Calgary. We didn't know the city at all and spent the first few weeks finding our way around in temperatures of minus 20 and very snowy.

Finding where to live proved difficult especially when we had to consider the educational needs of four children. After speaking to an employment consultant that we had worked with from the UK who just happened to ask how we were and caught me on a low moment I said we were wandering around a large city and didn't know where to look for a house. It was proving difficult to find information about each neighborhood and its facilities and amenities. A few hours later Warren phoned to rescue us and show us around. It was really like meeting a friend.

Warren has proved to be a real Canadian friend just what you need when you arrive in a new country. Nothing has ever been too much trouble for him and he has certainly helped us settle. The kids love him and really enjoy seeing him and he always asks after them and is full of suggestions if we need information. Warren said first things first get rid of the hire car and spent all day that Saturday driving Mike around the garages and helping him out with the Canadian way of doing things. I did say to Warren that Mike would never buy a car in one day but they did. How many estate agents do you know that would spend time finding you a car? He has introduced us to other people in our situation and gave us contacts to find out how other peopled settled and shared their experiences.

He made appointments with all the schools and took us to meet with the principals and showed us all the facilities in the area we were most interested in. Once the children were registered he even took us shopping to buy the necessary school equipment for the children! He has really made the difference and now we are settled in Okotoks we always feel that Warren is just a phone call away and always ready to help out or just give us advice. In those early days it was nice to feel someone really cared how we were doing and he has kept in close contact with us and that contact is still there which is really reassuring.

I would have no hesitation in recommending the services of Warren Green I only wish that we had been in contact with Warren before our arrival in Canada. You certainly need a friend when you arrive in a new country and what better than a local Canadian to give you first hand information. We are happy now to meet with new arrivals to make friends and compare experiences. He even helped us move into our house with the four children and all those boxes etc.!!

Please feel free to email us and ask any questions and we would love to meet you when you arrive.

If you are thinking of or are in the process of moving to Canada, I would recommend Warren as the perfect host to your new country. Warren has made our move hassle-free and with his great sense of humor, a lot of fun.

Within a couple of hours of picking me and David up at the airport, we had our SIN numbers, a bank account, food and plenty of beer. Warren had already organized rented accommodation before we left England, so when we arrived everything was taken care of and stress-free.

Within the first couple of weeks, Warren had organized a rental car, a mobile phone, helped David in his job search, taxied us to get a new car and his advice was always invaluable. On call 24 hours a day, any advice and support needed was given freely. I needed a computer, along came Warren with his laptop on the list was house-hunting and this is where Warren's enthusiasm really shines through. His knowledge of real-tacts and the different areas of Calgary is second to none. Within a week we had found the house for us, put in an offer (Warren negotiated a lower price) and had the offer accepted. On 9th August we move into the perfect house and I know the support won't stop here.

Thanks Warren for being there for us and welcoming us to your country and your life.

Moving to a new country can be one of the biggest life changing experiences you may ever undertake: This is the move we made.

Two wonderful people made this move easier than we could ever have imagined. From helping us to purchase our home and furniture to helping us shop for groceries.

We owe Warren and Sara Green a tremendous thanks and would not hesitate for one moment in recommending them to anyone who may find themselves in our position.

We met Warren and his wife Sarah at Emigrate 2002, in the UK, we had recently just found out that we had our visa's. A week later we had an e-mail off him, we notified him of our telephone number in the UK and he rang us, we spoke for 1/2 hour, and kept e-mail contact until we landed.

True to Warrens word he was waiting for us at the airport, from then on we truly valued his help. For the next 3 days Warren showed us around Calgary and sorted out our SIN numbers, medical cover, cell phones and even the shopping!

We have found the house of our dreams, Warren and Sarah will defindefinitelyeceiving an invitation to our house warming BBQ! What can we say about Warren, except that we would highly recommend his services, not only is he a great guy, but a very good friend.

An International Relocation...

My wife and I first met Warren at the Emigrate 2002, at Sandown race course. We talked to him about our 2 sons, where in Calgary we wanted to live. Straight away we felt we were talking to somebody who knew what we wanted and was in a position to assist us get what we wanted. Warren ( and Sarah, Warrens wife) gave us plenty of information to take home with us.

I contacted Warren again when we got back home and received a reply the same day. Contact was kept regularly from then until we arrived in Calgary in May. Then true to his word he was waiting for us at the airport and before we knew it we were in our rented apartment ( which Warren had arranged for us ).

From then onwards I can only say that the help Warren gave us was invaluable, we simply would not have been able to find the buildings let along know what to do, to get our Social Insurance Numbers and health cover, but within 3 days we had organized everything, even the boys were set up in a great school.

From then on he done a lot of work finding us the type of house we wanted, taking us around the city looking at property, and eventually helping buy the right house in the right area, and at a price less than we were prepared to pay for it!. Warren? help did not end there, he also was on hand to help me purchase a car and giving great assistance in finding work. After our short time together I would consider Warren not only an excellent realtor and relocation advisor but a good friend also.

I would not hesitate in recommending Warren to anybody and would certainly use his services again in the future.

An International Relocation...

With two young Children and two large dogs accompanying us to Canada we wanted to move into a home straight away rather than rent and have to move everyone again. We found some properties on the Internet but figured it would be really difficult to buy before we got into the Country.

After seeing Warren's website we de to contact him to see if he could offer any help. After sending our phone number to Warren by e-mail I think we waited for 10 minutes and he had called us to explain what he could do to help our move to Canada. We could not have asked for anything more.

He found us a property which we liked and faxed us the contract details but the owner would not negotiate what Warren thought was a fair price so advised us to drop the deal. At this point we were to say the least concerned, would we be able to find another property that was to our liking and price. Warren was his usual calm self told us not to worry he would sort everything. True to his word within a couple of days he had found us an even better property and negotiated us a very good price. He arranged for a Mortgage Broker to phone us and within a matter of days the house was ours. He made it all so easy in fact it was easier to get things sorted and dealt with in Canada than trying to deal with people locally on the sale of our house in England.

On the day of our move to Canada Warren was going to pick us up from the airport but as we would not be arriving till midnight we decided to stay at the airport hotel. On checking in we found a welcome note from Warren telling us what time he would pick us up the following day. After he picked us up he showed us around our new home (which far exceeded our expectations) he had already arranged for us to visit the local school. He then took us to open Bank Accounts, sign our Mortgage papers, arrange our Health care and to get our Social Insurance Numbers. He had arranged an appointment with a Lawyer to go over the legal side of our house purchase, the Lawyer Warren had arranged made everything so easy to understand it was a pleasure to have the meeting. While we were with the Lawyer, Warren even babysat our two children, all we get from them now is when can he look after us again. All the things Warren helped us with are things we would have got around to but it would have taken a while especially not knowing the city with Warren's help it was all sorted within a couple of days.

The only thing now that is left to arranged is to sort out a time with Warren for him to come round for his Thank you dinner. What more can we say about the service's Warren offers other than Thank you very much Warren.

An International Relocation...

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL: MR. WARREN GREEN

My husband and I are originally from South Africa. After living for 14 years in Vancouver, B.C., we relocated to Calgary. When my husband started his new job in Calgary, I remained behind in Vancouver with our son while our house was being sold. I did a lot of research regarding prices and different neighborhoods to live on the Internet. It was while investigating the town of Okotoks on the Internet that I came across Mr. Green's web site (okotokshomesforsale.com). I was quite impressed with all of the information he provided about Okotoks, as well as the many useful links he had provided to other sites of interest (in my case, local schools).

I contacted Warren and arranged for him to meet with my husband, Gerard, to show him a few properties around the Okotoks area. Gerard and Warren kept in contact after that, and Warren regularly e-mailed me with encouraging tips regarding packing up and settling affairs in Vancouver. When my son and I arrived in Calgary in mid-August, we all met with Warren, who showed us a few more properties. During the next few weeks, we were in constant contact with Warren, who took the time to drive me around and show me many more houses, as well as places of interest in Okotoks (playgrounds, recreation center, schools, stores). We found that Warren is very sensitive to one's needs: he will first assess what your requirements are, and then advise on the situation's pro's and con's. Warren is extremely helpful, patient, has a great sense of humour, and is understanding and caring, especially for people that have relocated from a different area and need a lot of guidance.

When we found our dream property (in this case a newer house on six acres located just outside of Okotoks), Warren negotiated a suitable price and took care of many other details, such as arranging for the home inspection, well water test, recommending a lawyer and a mortgage broker. Warren personally took us to the local school to register our son, and provided all of the information we needed regarding setting up utilities, telephone, television etc. When we moved into our new home, Warren insisted on being there first to "do a walk through" to ensure that everything was in order, and continued to be in regular contact with us.

Warren is not only a great realtor, but also a really pleasant, dependable and honest person, and we would not hesitate to recommend him.
Sincerely,

An International Relocation...

Dear Warren,

We arrived in Canada 5 weeks ago having been delayed by the events of 11th September. Our flight was not confirmed until the last minute so we were extremely pleased and relieved when we saw Warren waiting at Calgary airport in the early hours of the morning just as he had promised. We had been in conversation with Warren since meeting him at the emigrate show in Sandown, Surrey, England earlier this year. We were very keen to find a property as quickly as we could and we were very specific about our requirements. Warren clearly did a lot of research for us and found us our perfect house. Warren then negotiated really well for us and generated a significant reduction in the price as well as getting many items included within the sale. Things that we did not think possible having previously dealt with English estate agents. We look forward to Warren and his family coming over for a barbecued on our 'included in the sale barbecue Warren has done much more than just find us our ideal property, he has taken us to all the essential departments that we had to attend. This meant that we could concentrate on looking for employment.
Warren has been like having a friend over here to help us settle in and we could have asked no more of him.
We would also like to thank him for our house warming gift of getting our new chimney cleaned for us!
A lot of the initial worry has been removed thanks to Warren and his professional and friendly advice and assistance.

An International Relocation...

Dear Warren,

When I first contacted Warren Green, he promised me a stress free immigration to Calgary and all at no expense to me. Having moved a number of times in Europe, I guessed it was sales talk.To my surprise he delivered on this promise completely.
To be helped by Warren is an experience I feel everyone moving to Alberta should go through. He is a man who totally fulfills all of his promises, from collection at the airport, sorting out health and registration details, sorting out a mobile phone (I needed to keep in contact with my company), organizing car rental at special discounts and then finding the home that you want, not the home the realtor wants to sell which I have experienced in the past.
On the first day of home hunting, Warren didn? even have us look at homes. Instead, he toured areas and schools with us, allowing us time to speak to the staff, so that we would know exactly where we wanted to stay.
Once that was decided he short listed the homes which fitted our needs and toured us round them , allowing us to return to the homes as often as was needed, always making us feel that he had all the time in the world for us and our needs.
When we decided that nothing currently on the market really satisfied our needs, he went out and negotiated with builders on our behalf and sorted out a fantastic deal for us on a new home.
Once we had agreed on the home, which was still in the process of being built, Warren didn? grab his commission the builders and run, he continued to help and assist, visiting the home to check on progress more often than we did. Keeping us informed at all times of what was happening and what we had to do, smoothing out any challenges which arose. Advising on telephone connections, electrical and all the myriad of things that pop up at the time of moving. Even assisting with moving things in his pickup and telling me the best hairdressers etc.
All this help allowed me to do what I needed to, which was continue on with my work, and support my family during the move.
If you wish to have your faith in human nature (and realtors in particular) restored, then contact Warren and enjoy the experience. My wife and I certainly will never consider using another realtor while we live in Alberta.

An International Relocation...

We met Warren Green when we moved to Calgary from England. Warren was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the Calgary region and made our house purchase extremely painless and fast. Quite the opposite from England. I would not hesitate to recommend Warren to friends and anybody moving to the Calgary region from abroad and in fact we used Warren's services again when we moved from Calgary to Okotoks.
